![]() ![]() How come you're still on Build 22621.1? You should be up to Build 22621.4.It is an optional manual download (KB5015207) that does not have any release notes. I'll jump right on you given the opportunity unless of course you have the decency to apologize, which I'm sure you don't. So you'd better be careful with your behavior, because two can play the same game. You remind me of the kids on the block when I was growing up-always looking for something to barrage someone about (I guess that you're still at that level despite your advanced age). I appreciate the advise despite the fact that your immaturity allows you to harangue me when you find something to do so with. I looked in the Settings->Apps and it said it was installed despite that there was nothing in the c:\windows\system32 or my Start Menu, so I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it, and now it is there, both in my Start Menu and in the system32 directory. I got it from the Release Preview Channel and therefore directly from yes, Microsoft, after logging in as a Windows 10 insider. Like I said (several times and that you'd know if you'd just pay attention when reading my posts) it was the download that became available in the Beta Channel on May 11th and then the Release Preview Channel on June 7th. Check "Settings", then "Apps", then "Optional Features" and see if it is installed. In any case, you likely messed with what to install during installation. Of course I use official ISO's only, and have 100% fully supported hardware, and I do not modify the OS in any way with third party programs - except for Start11. I recently installed Windows 11 from a Insider ISO (official from Microsoft) fresh after replacing and formatting the SSD in my Lenovo Thinkpad, (less than a week ago) and it too still has the Windows Fax and Scan software included. We are playing around with Windows 11 at my work and have started rolling it out officially on newer laptops. "somewhere else"? And if so, what official Microsoft website did you use to verify the hash for build 22621? It's just on this very latest upgrade (the download that became available in the last two weeks or so) that it's missing. But did you get that download from an official Microsoft website, or did you download it from. On my machine that I upgraded to 22H2 about a month ago the program is still there.
